I would like to make a suggestion: Make running with acceleration/fast movement improve the fitness skill (and cause weight loss) like running on a treadmill. (but a little slower so that there is an incentive to buy a treadmill). However, running should quickly expend energy and non-linearly (the longer Zoi runs continuously, the faster the energy level decreases)
I know that when doing sports, Zoi changes into a sports outfit, but I think this should not be a problem. For example, you can make a countdown timer, if the character made a short run of up to 5-10 seconds, this will not be counted as a sports run, but if the player sent the character to run far or held Shift for 30 seconds or longer, this will be interpreted by the game as doing sports. Also, after stopping, there should be a 5-10 cooldown and if you start running further, the fitness will continue.

While I agree in general, I think it would be better if it were possible to implement fitness from running only as a player choice, especially given the muscle-gain mechanic we have. As an example of what I mean, TS3 mermaids were great, but mine all ended up looking like they were on steroids as they were constantly “working out” while swimming. I would hate for that to happen in InZoi while simply trying to get from A to B.
Maybe if we could select “jog to”, our zoi could equip sportswear and then gain fitness skill while doing a directed run, that would be cool. We could use the open world to work out in, and get somewhere else at the same time (for example jogging to work could be a thing).
