Mod manager fails to update mods.

  • The mod manager leaves folders empty when trying to uninstall a mod or updating a mod.
  • This creates the that by leaving empty folders the mod manager thinks that the mod is still installed and cannot be updated and cannot be completely deleted.

Currently when trying to update a mod, the progression bar stay stuck at 100% and never progress and you cannot delete a mod from the mod manager.

I found a temporary fix.

  1. Find the mod ID that Cursedforge gave to the mod.(You might have to open each folder in C:\Users\*\Documents\inZOI\Mods\88849
  2. Make sure the mod inside is the correct named folder is the mod you want to delete or update.
  3. Delete that mod folder manually under C:\Users\\Documents\inZOI\Mods\88849\*
  4. Go back in game and browse to find the mod again if you want to use it again. You should be able to download the updated version.
