  • Details:

A sandstorm hit Dowon at ~8:30 AM, before the scheduled 9:00 AM work start. My zoi (planning team at Adam Entertainment) was already at the office when the disaster began and automatically received an interaction to go home, which I canceled. During the disaster, only my zoi and a police officer were present in the office.

The sandstorm ended at ~10:30 AM. At that point, all trainees reported to work as expected, but no other office workers arrived for the remainder of the day. At 12:11 PM, the office still contained only the trainees and my zoi, with no other office staff present.

I think the system is deliberately intended. And I like the system because it’s very realistic.

That’s what I thought as well, and I totally agree with your point, but if that’s the case I don’t think zois should be penalised for missing/leaving work. New tasks kept coming up throughout the day and the zoi would’ve failed them otherwise and job performance would’ve decreased.

I also think it’s right that there’s no penalty.

This just happened to me this morning, except it was a heatwave. As the tasks had already come up for my Zoi, who had arrived at work, I cancelled the “go home” action and sent her back into the office as I was concerned that she would not be paid and would lose job progress if she went home.

The extreme weather event was also over before she would have got home, so I felt justified in this choice of action. However, I also noticed that K-Pop trainees came back into the office (or perhaps they just arrived at their allotted time, which is later?) but the other office staff remained absent all day.
