• Details (Providing reproduction steps helps us): Stairs cut through not only floor of landing room but the ceiling and floor of next room above or flat roof platform. Issue appeared after latest update on 20. 08.

The floor disappears because of the stairs. I’m trying to delete and replace the stairs but it doesn’t help.

Helloo! I´m having his problem too. For example when the stairs are placed on the 1st floor, the floor diseppears on 2nd floor as usual, but itdisappears on the 3rd floor too. I can’t make a flat rooftop because of that

• Details (Providing reproduction steps helps us): The stairs and ladders in the game are cutting a hole on the ceilings/floor two levels above their placement. To recreate, create a room and place down stairs or ladders. Then add two more floors and you will see the hole the stairs make on the third floor.

When stairs are placed on the 1st floor, they correctly connect to the 2nd floor.
However, the section of the 3rd floor directly above the installed stairs appears visually missing/transparent.

• Details: I’m having the same issue. Ceiling will not generate over stairwell. I notice if I delete the stairs, the ceiling automatically regenerates again without me doing anything. But if i put them back, the ceiling vanishes. I’ve tried rebuilding it in more simple ways but each time the ceiling goes away.

It will not solve your problem but you can trick it with a platform and put something on it for hide it. (be carefull, the platform will be hided too, but like this, I can put a roof now)

It’s been fixed with v0.3.2 hotfix update, so please check the details below.

Fixed an issue where placing stairs also created a hole on the upper floor.
