That you make the game playable on M1 even on Low Settings.

I was hoping to play, even if it wasn’t with smartZOI, but unfortunately, there’s a notice board.

My computer is an M1 with 16GB of RAM, and I can play Cyberpunk without any issues.. :sad_but_relieved_face:

Oh no. Did it let you download it before you got that notification?

The notification no, but I had owned the game before this update. I bought it while back earlier in the Early Access and played a bit using an app called Crossover, which translates Windows apps to Mac. It played great there, but the native version has this limitation, which is a bummer. I can play games like Cyberpunk 2077, which is far more graphically intense and complex overall. In Cyberpunk 2077, NPCs do a lot of things, and you have cars, guns, and VFX, the whole Triple AAA treatment, and I put that as an example. I’m thinking right now that it’s an optimization issue and not so much a lack of power for the M1. #Justsaying.

Oh alright. I have two Mac computers, and one of them is an M1 and the other is a M4. I was going to try M1 through the Mac Store to see if it can download it. It’s good that you can still play it the other way it sounds like.

I really want to play this game, but my Mac’s RAM is only 8GB. :smiling_face_with_tear:

It’s not entirely accurate, but a native port for Mac would always be the preferred method.

Well, yeah, 8GB isn’t much even for the most optimized games. I knew when I bought the M1 back then that I should go for the 16GB because I knew 8GB wouldn’t be sufficient.

I believe they should consider alternative lightning solutions. Nanite technology, which is currently causing performance issues(my guess), is the primary culprit. While many users have praised its capabilities, it has been criticized for its poor optimization.
