Details (Providing reproduction steps helps us): Open inZOI on a Mac with an M1 chip.
Hi inZOI Team!
This is a major issue if true (can’t verify as inZOI for macOS isn’t available in my Mac App Store) but I’ve saw some Threads post about people getting inZOI for Apple M1 Macs whereas the minimum requirements have been set at M2.
If did a quick Google search and actually found the minimum requirements to be set at M1!
On Discord, they have addressed this a bit, so I hope that this can help at least explain things a little. I will be posting screenshots of the relevant info.
I apologize if this isn’t what you are looking for. I just wanted to keep you in up to date on info. I hope this helps at least with understanding where the problem is.
Thanks for the screenshots It’s a non-issue for me, but just wanted to make sure it wasn’t a mistake. Didn’t know Apple don’t allow to leave out certain Silicon chips, they could add this easily as I can easily leave out the x86_64 chipsets in my apps already so they should refine it as disgruntled players will aim their negative review towards inZOI instead of Apple
Unfortunately that won’t fix your issue, RAM can’t be increased by adding more external storage. RAM is a vital component to your computer and Mac’s are notoriously tedious to update its RAM
So I guess the only option here is to get inZOI through Steam and play via GeForce NOW which is unfortunately a monthly subscription.
