Move Zois without “RIVER CROSSING RIDDLE”

When moving ZOIs between families, the family list itself completely disappears. It wasn’t like this before, but this issue started occurring right after the latest update. I have been deeply enjoying “Legacy Play.”

Let’s say there are Family A and Family B. Family A has 2 adults and 3 children, while Family B has 1 teenager and 4 children. Suppose I want to send 1 adult from Family A to Family B and move 1 teenager from Family B to Family A. I click the “Move ZOI between Families” button, select the adult in Family A and the teenager in Family B, and use the arrow to move them. But then, ta-da! Family B just vanishes entirely after the move.

Previously, I could move family members simply and easily. Now, I have to constantly calculate and make sure there are always at least two adults left in a household before moving anyone.

There is another problem. Suppose Family C has 1 teenager and 7 children, and Family D has 1 teenager and 6 children. I want to swap the teenagers between Family C and Family D. This is now impossible. The moment I try to exchange them, both Family C and Family D disappear at the same time.

I now have families that I can never move or edit again. While playing Legacy, I used the “waiting family list” very effectively. I would often split many offspring into waiting families and take turns growing them up one by one. Now, I honestly don’t know how to even continue my Legacy Play.

If this is a bug, please fix this. If this was an intended change, I think it should be reverted to its original state. While the convenience of the movement feature itself was a good idea, but now, I can’t solve a “RIVER CROSSING RIDDLE” every single time I want to swap family members.

Hi @RubberDuck37 ,

I have moved your post to the Bug Report category, as it concerns an issue where the entire family disappears when using the “Move Zoi Between Families” feature.
