These activities were already in operation before the last update, and had two NPC employees, but now they appear to be deceased 
I hire an employee, save the settings, but when I check by returning to the management screen, no employee appears.
I’ve tried both from “Manage Work” on the map and from the smartphone.
I’ve tried hiring different Zois.
I’m attaching the save file where this occurs.

I’m so glad you posted this! I have the same problem after the update of 2 weeks ago. When I click on the phone or map to edit/manage my business hours or employees nothing seems to save even though I click on complete/save. My first employee doesn’t even show up to work now, so I have to show up working and not making profit. My cafe business has more customers, and I need to hire another employee which I can but can’t at the same time. I hope this upcoming week of update fix the bugs to get our business running!
