[0.6.0] Babysitter not showing up at all anymore

    Weight balance mod, compact medical kit, one painting + a bunch of hair and clothes (61 pieces), all validated by the in-game mod manager.

  • Hardware Specifications & Operating System (OS version, CPU, GPU, RAM, storage…): Windows 11, Intel i9 10850k CPU, Nvidia RTX 5070ti GPU, 32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD.

  • Steps to Reproduce: Go out with all the adults and leave the babies home alone.

  • Please provide the entire save file(s) from the date when the issue occurred.

  • Details:
    Since the newest update, the babysitter bug where babysitters would refuse to leave your house is supposedly fixed. I started up my game and still had one babysitter sleeping on my couch so I emergency rescued her and thankfully, she didn’t come back again.

    However, the babysitter now also doesn’t show up anymore when all the adults are away! I don’t get any automatic babysitters at my house at all anymore, even with two babies home alone for over 3 hours. I thought: maybe I should order a babysitter on pocket market if they removed the automatic babysitter feature, but on pocket market they are all ‘sold out’….

Is it intentional that we don’t get automatic babysitters anymore when all the adults/teens are out? If so, how do we get a babysitter to come to our place if the babies are home alone and all the babysitters are sold out? I was hoping the automatic babysitter would still show up, and then properly leave at the appropriate time when the parents get home. This way, my babies are being neglected at home all alone…

This has been happening to me for a very long time with an old save.

In certain families I can’t call the babysitter. In others I call her but she doesn’t arrive.

If I leave the children alone, I get the message “your child is alone, we’re sending a babysitter”, but no one ever arrives.

I had already reported this before the forum even opened, through the website, but it was never resolved.

In my new saves I don’t know why I still don’t have any infants/toddlers.

On the contrary, I have not one, but 2 baby-sitters in the house (Dowon Martin Family), one each for 2 babies !!

The baby-sitters were uncalled; showed up on there own when I had switched to another family, and now refuse to leave the house.

Now this is on a previously saved game (new game started with v0.5.4). I have to yet test this on a new game in v0.6.0. I wonder what happens when the babies grow up.

I had the same thing happen after the March update, where a child was left alone at home. I kept getting a notification that the nanny would arrive soon and no one showed up. But this is an old save file where I think I had all the babysitter situations described, because I play with several families with a lot of children :laughing: :woman_facepalming:

Happened for the first time in my game yesterday.
Both adult went to the park in Dowon, and after a while I notice a red circle (angry) around the newborn.
It was hungry and frustrated that no one was coming to see him.

Thankfully nothing bad happen to the little guys, but it had been a while since this happened.
