Steps to Reproduce:
Ever since my zoi left one time with the baby at home every night the babysitters show back up. I don’t even have a baby/toddler in the house anymore and my zoi has to keep telling them to leave the house.
This bug has been around for ages and keeps getting ignored whenever it’s reported, which is very annoying. Babysitters will come whenever they please whether you call them or are at home or not, sometimes there’ll be two of them. They even keep showing up after your zoi children are full grown adults. It’s really a toss up whether they’ll even do anything to babysit the actual baby. And sometimes they decide to not show up at all while all zois are out? This whole babysitter mechanic needs to be wiped and redone because it’s bugged down to the core.
Totally agree with @NovelistAnne here. The whole babysitter system is bugged and has been a mess for months at this point. Once the toddlers became obsessed with diaper changes and eating, the game started selecting (random?) household members to take care of them → this makes babysitters completely useless unfortunately.
I have latest update and this glitch has happened to me in my game. I will ask this…
Are you telling us that we have to start NEW save files in order to see if the newest patch resolves this? Because I can tell you that I am playing on a game save that I have before the update (which I didn’t have a child then) and now after the update and with having a child, this has happened in my save.
I am not playing with mods nor have I downloaded any content from the available exchanges.
