Whats the point of being able to put items like cut gems on display cases if your other zois wander up and throw them away , Anything put out like that from gems to claw prizes should remain unless you delete them
I agree with this. The only interactions available with display cases should be taken the object out or putting it in, and it should never be something that zois can do autonomously.
They only toss it out cause for some odd reason it’s considered trash and makes your house dirty. I say what’s the point of having display cases at all if you are not allowed to put out the nice things without being nagged to death about the dirty house. When you hire a maid they toss out all your collectable and won items as well cause for some reason it’s tagged like a smelly diaper.

This issue may occur if the item has not been set to ‘Display.’
Could you please check whether the item is still being thrown away after putting items with the ‘Display’ option?
Some items do not have a ‘Display’ option, and we are currently reviewing ways to improve this. Thank you!
No all items in my game were on the shelf and set to display and it was a filthy house until I sold them and the cases same with the fish in the tank all the sudden dirty house, there are some that cannot be set to display like the claw machine toys that are won.
I want the items to not make the house dirty and nothing should have auto throw away even the xmas cookie boxes have no display and auto toss
Possible solution the ones that went missing i placed in my house then moved them onto the display case . The ones that i held in my zois hand and then clicked on the display case and chose display are still there . I will keep an eye on them and report if those go missing
Further to my last NOPE a visitor wandered over to the display stand and threw into the rubbish a cut diamond i had on display
On further playing various cut gems have disappeared from the display shelves , So i have stopped cutting them
