Do you want a top to have exact same color as bottoms like a suit?

I understand not all people can get colors to match, same as I’m not good at everything but I am very good at art and color matching.

First I want to explain that not every top and bottoms can have exact same color, some are too textured and few have inverted shadowing.

Most clothing can because a top isn’t as dark as the bottoms is easy to get the colors to look 99%-100% exactly the same.

Here is the method save the color that you want both pieces of the outfit to be, then put it the other piece (on most clothing it’s not a perfect match) adjust shade or brightness up or down in the color spectrum, do not change saturation (unless if needed to tweak) which most clothing needs the same exact saturation to be a perfect match.

Finally if you can’t get outfit pieces to match, upload the outfit to Canvas and a pic here and tell me what you want to match up and tell me name or link to the outfit on Canvas and I will download it, make it match and upload to Canvas for you.

NOTE: I do not color MODS, I will only color GAME DEFALT CLOTHING.

Here’s some examples:

Green and Tan Formal Wear: Outfit for woman, women’s lady’s teen to adult

Christy Kpop “Outfit with Yellow Nike Shoes”

Tan Outfit for woman, women’s lady’s teen to adult

Samantha Heart’s Outfit for woman, women’s lady’s teen to adult

Pink business suit, blazer with matching pants: Outfit for woman, women’s lady’s teen to adult

I can’t work miracles but I can make outfits match (if they are possible)

I find this really frustrating. To get colours to match, visually, you have to make the items different colours. It’s nuts.

It doesn’t make sense to have a suit jacket and trousers in different fabrics to the point where you can’t make a tailored suit. That goes for the waistcoat as well.

I agree, but even The Sims was like this, for whatever reason game developers keep making clothes including suit blazers and pants not match.

Also look at beds in inZOI, we have to scale the pillows, mattress, and blanket just to get a pattern the same size, this seems intentional for reasons that make no since to us creators, is the motive to make us play longer, instead of coloring items and being done, make us spend more time to perfect them?

There must be some kind of physics behind it, otherwise it makes no sense to me. They must encounter the same problems when they’re creating content for the game.

Or, it’s that they’re waiting for modders to create the content we want

I guess they just don’t have the time to care about details with all the stuff they have to tackle.

You can use the color swatch to store a color and reuse it in another outfit. Alternatively, just copy the hex code and use it in another outfit.

Or did I misunderstand the original post?

There is a bug with the clothing that somehow doesn’t allow this anomyore, the colors are different even though it’s the same code

Oh! I missed that post. Thanks for posting it here.

Yes this thread is talking about when the same hex code is put on multiple clothing pieces some are darker than others, a prime example to see what I’m talking about is make a craftable shirt and craftable pants with same hex code and the pants will be a lot darker than the shirt.

There are ways to make some clothing match event though they wouldn’t match by coloring like this outfit the pants are plaid but when you put a solid color texture on the pants you just have to find the right tone, saturation, and shade to color the shirt and sweater, the sweater is only about 90% matched, it has a little more saturation, giving it a nice vibe, making the colors match with a realistic texture appearance.

Alternatively you can put same texture on all clothing pieces and most will match.

Note: the inverted shadow clothing will not match because they are lit where normal clothing has shade.
