So my gaming desktop is in the shop. I am using my laptop rtx 3050 4gb VRAM and running with nanite off on low to medium settings with no issues however…
It got me thinking. Why dont the devs also optimize the game for low end users. So lowering textures, lowers vram requirements etc
I think this will create an environment so even more players can join this game. Keep in mind I want high end users to have the choice to run the game on ultra with 6gb vram etc… however for lower end users to have the option to play on low settings without burning their laptops
Kind of like sims 4 laptop mode where you could play on “ultra” won’t look great but it is an option
I think that’s a great idea and basically what all devs should be aiming for. The major issue is that inZOI’s requirements are far from The Sims 4. The franchise’s latest installment released in September 2014, almost 12 years ago. System requirements and limitations were very different back then, not to mention that the Sims 4 graphic is almost the opposite of inZOI (by design choice of course).
I agree with that. Even if system requirements increase over time, a reasonable middle ground should be found to enable future players to enter the inZoi world. From my professional time in Asia, I am familiar with PC bangs with high-tech computers and a different approach to gaming culture. Presumably, there will also be fewer crash reports if the requirements are adjusted. One way forward is the smaller world of the future.
When I bought inZOI I had a MSI 1050 ti on a pretty old pc that was way below minimum requirements, the game did play with very bad graphics and not much lag, now on this new custom build I can play with everything on ultra and I haven’t noticed any lag at all, so if you understand pc specs I hope this helps
