    No error message.

  • As a playing Zoi (male), I engaged a female Zoi as an employee in my business and assigned her an employee outfit (female chef outfit).

  • As per the story progression, the playing male Zoi married the female employee. The female zoi was automatically removed as an employee from the business.

  • However, although the female zoi is now no longer an employee, she continues to autonomously switch into the employee chef outfit as soon as she wakes up in the morning and wears it till she goes to bed, as if this now is the everyday outfit. (This is the bug being reported)

  • In CAZ, none of the Zoi’s outfit category have the chef employee outfits that the zoi autonomously switches to. I have tried changing all the outfits in CAZ (thru style yourself, edit outfit via mirror, outside the game in CAZ), but this issue persists that the zoi retains and autonomously switches to the business employee outfit, (outside of the business) though she is no longer connected to the business. This Zoi also has the “business” conversation category when you right click on the zoi, though the Zoi is not anymore with the business.

I find this bug similar to the earlier bug, (I think pre patch v0.4.0), where the Zoi continued to wear their bathrobe outside of the Spa in Cahaya.

having this issue is there a fix?

Hello. I don’t know if the original post has already been fixed, but maybe one of these options will help you:

The Career Re-hire Loop: Open your business menu, manually hire the spouse back as an employee, save the game, and then manually fire them via the management interface. This forces the engine to run the proper “Termination” code sequence, which successfully scrubs the outfit loops and interaction wheels that the automatic marriage transition missed.

Give Them a Temporary Career: If you do not own the original business, have the glitched Zoi use their phone to join a completely different career (such as a generic city rabbit-hole job or a fresh active profession). Let them attend for one shift so their work outfit shifts to the new career, and then have them quit.

The “Style Yourself” Closet Reset: Go into CAZ (Create-a-Zoi) through an in-game mirror. Create a clone of their Everyday Outfit 1 into Everyday Outfit 2 slot, then delete the original Everyday Outfit 1 slot. Sometimes clearing the primary outfit cache breaks the ghost routine forcing the chef/employee clothes to spawn.

The rehire employee and career change are good workarounds, thank you.

I had tried changing the everyday outfit, but that did not work.

Anyway, it was an old save, and I haven’t played that save since. I haven’t tested whether the bug exists in the v0.9.x version, with a playable zoi. However in v0.9.2, I have an NPC moving about on non work days in work clothes (from another business that I do not own). Changing the NPC’s outfit via customzoi cheat does not help because the work outfit is nowhere to be seen when editing in CAZ, in spite of trying various outfit combinations. So probably the bug still exists.

That is good to know. I hope there will be an official fix, but at least something seemed to work temporarily
