Please give us a category for work clothes and assign this to be worn for the active careers

The 6 new active careers which came with the April patch don’t have a specific job clothing assigned (except Neo Chemi). Nevertheless the game automatically assigns the formal clothing as job outfit. I kind of understand the logic and for male Zois this even works quite ok as they are then mainly wearing a suit which is Ok for some of the jobs - but even here: I don’t know if a software developer or music producer would really come to office in a suit these day, but Ok.

Where it does not work at all is for female Zois. We of course can assign an office like clothing as a formal outfit but the formal outfit is also where we would assign evening dresses etc. This then has the effect that Zois go to work like this and this looks massively overdressed for the office:

Can we simply get a new outfit category for work clothes where we can assign appropriate clothing for each job / each Zoi and each job level?

Yes, it definitely won’t be superfluous.

Yeah, this is a great idea :face_savoring_food: But what if our zois’ clothing doesn’t match the other zois at work :thinking:

I agree. And they already have the right idea with the business uniforms. So indirectly, there is already a “job” category for outfits, if you assign them. It overwrites the attempt to put on the formal outfit. Sadly, you can only put on preset outfits, but it’s better than nothing. I hope we can customize them later on as well.

Regardless, there should be an option for regular jobs as well.

Every job (similar to The Sims 2/3) could offer a “default” job outfit, matching the workplace, with the option to customize it completely.

@daria thanks for supporting!

@MuTaRe_0.6 the issue of outfiits not matching to the other employees could be solved as per @Minthyuyu suggestion offering a standard outfit but still giving us the chance to customize it. At the moment my Zoi is actually also not matching to the other employees in the office with her evening gown :sweat_smile:

Actually we could simply rename the school outfit category to school / job category and use this one. I think most Zois are not having a full time job and visiting school at the same time. The school outfit is actually never used for young adults onwards if I am not mistaken.

This seems like the easiest option to just replace the school outfit from young adult onward, although I’m not sure if young adults wear the “school outfit” when they go to university.

I’ve never sent one of my Zois to university. But I do agree that it would make a lot more sense. Maybe one could use that whole category as “professional” attire. For kids and teens it’s a school outfit and for young adults onward it’s the university/job outfit

@Minthyuyu exactly! That would be the best solution and should be easy to implement.

Yes, they should use the work attire.
It’s almost never used anyways, and should be for workplaces.

If workplace already have a uniform, then use that (the store in bliss bay, burger place, surf place, etc).
There’s jobs where there’s no uniform but use some generic work attire… like something a guy in IT would wear.
For these, honestly? let us use ours.
