Considering the current age of generations (42 days)
And the length of the Teenager age group (15days)
That would drop generation age to 27days⌠Still atrocious but more manageable.
Devs said no because itâs not âPolitically Correctâ for teens to have babies. Sensitive subject for them⌠We canât even talk about that on the Discord (no jokes). But I totally agree this should be a thing.
Maybe as a mod eventually, I am 100% sure someone will make such a mod.
Hate to rely on mods, but in this case it might be unavoidable.

I agree I would love to have teen pregnancy, being able to get jobs so you can support your baby. What relationships it will impact things like that

I think it would be interesting, and I believe that for greater realism, there should be the possibility of positive or negative reactions, both in the zoi and in their environment (family).
In addition, it would be interesting to include a question of probabilities here. For example, warming up the atmosphere in front of the bed should always have a small chance of pregnancy, perhaps different depending on age. In fact, I think this would extend to absolutely everything feasible in the game.
I also think it would be important for characters above and below a certain age to be able to have romantic relationships. For example, when one teenager grows up before the other, this interaction is blocked until they coincide again.

What you also need to remember is the age certification , Doing that would push the game into an adult game so i honestly cannot see it happening and for me personally i would rather not have it ingame

Please do not take good values away from this game. A Life Sim has the potential to influence players to be good human beings with values that nurture a society on a positive path. This very thought was the basis for this game as said by Kjun in a video prior to the early access release in Mar 2025. This is a teen friendly game. Let it be so. Families want to play this game together.

Although I do not want teen pregnancies in the game, I would like there to be a possibility to conceive a baby when zois set the mood by the bed. It would add a bit more unpredictability and drama. I recently had the wife in my family autonomously suggest having a baby to her husband while I was playing one of the children. They didnât conceive, but I wouldâve loved it if they had!
But I want teens to be able to play inZOI, so I donât want teen pregnancies added to the game. If they made the game M for adults for some other reason, I would be more likely to consider it for the sake of other players who would enjoy it. But like I said, I want teens to be able to play the game, too, so it should be safe for them to play.

This isnât something that I would want in my game. To be honest, I still donât think I would want it, even with toggles.
While I understand teen pregnancy exists regardless of cultures, traditions, politics, beliefs or anything else, itâs still considered a sensitive topic, especially where game ratings are concerned.
I think something like this would be handled better as a mod, instead of an official update.

I agree that they probably wont add teen pregnancy which stinks! but also in my personal opinion it seems kinda silly to me that they arenât willing to do thatn but they can add âcrimeâ to the game? (and im 1000% glad that there is crime in the game, dont get me wrong!)
I dunno, maybe hopefully theyâll change their mind on the matter but honestly i dont see that happening! haha.

Firstly, I agree with the user @Molly that teenage pregnancy will only lead to an increase in the age rating of the game. I donât see any reason to artificially reduce the potential gamer base.
Secondly, there are more important things, even without teenage pregnancy, that need to be improved before the full release of the game. And the release is already so soon. I think in the end of 2026.
The game has a lot of bugs, errors, shortcomings, and problems⌠The developers have literally less than 1 year to fix it.
Third, a life hack for you personally, author @leahloveslife :
if you want a teenage girl to become a mother of a newborn baby,
- Create in Character Studio the same Zois at the age of âyoungâ and at the age of âteenagerâ
- switch on cheat codes in the Psycat guide
- use in game a cheat code âcustomzoi [ZOI ID]â
- temporarily change âteenagerâ Zoi Preset to âyoungâ Zoi Preset and save changes
- use cheat code âgetBabyWith [other Zoiâs ID]â, use cheat code âhelloMyAngelâ to instantly give birth
- after give birth use cheat code âcustomzoi [ZOI ID]â
- and change âyoungâ Zoi Preset to âteenagerâ Zoi Preset
So you will have teen mom and newborn baby!
EASY!
(and there is no need to distract developers, who already got their hands full, with absurd wishes 
)

Even though teen pregnancies isnât something I would play since teen gameplay right now isnât that interesting. I think people should have the option to have teen pregnancies in the game.
To use the excuse of âpoliticsâ or âvaluesâ for not having teen pregnancy is odd considering players can steal, rob and physically attack Zois.

Yeah, the morality double-standard is ⌠weird.
But itâs been around ever since I was alive.
I love the n0mercygames trick.
Another trick would be to make an age mod (local since it would be blocked at CurseForge)
where in the mod, you make young adult start 1 day after the first day of teenager.
Run the mod, your day 2 teenager becomes day one young adult.
Get busy and either give birth normally or use the trick from n0mercygames
Then save and go in main menu and remove the mod once you had the kid.
If you want the kid normally, (ie: living the 3 days to give birth) once youâre confirmed pregnant just lock aging for everyone.
I think teen life could be filled-out a lot more. Right now, the most fun part about it is the teen romance.
The Sims game I loved dearly was The Sims 2, and teens could sneak out with a friend at night. We didnât get to see what they were up to, but they could get arrested and brought home by the police, which damaged their relationship with their parents. Other times, they got away with it. I also liked that they could run away from home if they didnât have good enough relationships with their family, but they went off-screen and we had to just try to have them found or wait for them to come home.
I think there are a lot of fun ways to expand gameplay for the teen stage. Perhaps teens could break laws without any prerequisites other than their age. They would have different punishments than adult zois, but it would contribute to their criminal record and could prevent them from getting certain jobs in their adult life.
It doesnât need to be a morality or values thing. If the devs ever do add it, I hope it will depend on the zoiâs own values, trait, characteristics, and relationships. If a zoi has traditional as their highest value, they wouldnât want to have a baby until theyâre married. A zoi with autonomy or challenger as their top value would be a lot more likely to want to go against societal expectations and do what they feel is right for them.
