I would really like Sims to have the ability to wear pajamas around the house. It’s incredibly annoying how they change clothes immediately after getting out of bed. For example, to turn off the light in the house, go to the baby at night, or use the bathroom urgently, Sims are obligated to change into everyday clothes, do what they need to do, then go to the wardrobe, usually in another room, so they can go back to sleep. It takes an incredibly long time and disrupts the flow of gameplay.

This please! I believe it would be better if zois just stay in their pijamas until you tell them to change, or they choose to change if you give them autonomy. But automatically changing once they get out of bed ruins immersion a bit.

This is how I prefer to play, I want to have the zois do everything I assign them to do and nothing else, I want to play the household, I don’t want to watch them automatically play.
Having the mother make coffee in pajamas with her messy bedhead hair would show that realistic vibe of waking up, if you want coffee you don’t change your clothes and brush your hair until after you had coffee.
Another option I wish could be in the game is to sleep in whatever clothes your wearing, most people that I know don’t own pajamas, we don’t get dressed to sleep, we just sleep.

I have created a similar wishlist topic asking for a new CAZ > Outfit category for “at home” outfits.
Perhaps this could be an easier way for the Devs to implement as the mechanism (UI + auto switch during game-play) is already in place.
