Changing clothes after coming home - why do children walk around the house in jackets and scarves / home slippers / radiators / lights

It’s mega annoying that, for example, Zoi eats a meal or cooks, or cleans the house, while wearing a coat or jacket with a hat on her head. The best solution would be if they changed into sportswear after returning home.

Since there’s wall-mounted air conditioning - on the same principle - radiators (central heating) could be added, not just fireplaces.

Turning the lights on and off should also be available from the player’s position, so it works immediately without queuing Zoi’s tasks. An automatic mode for turning lights on/off when Zoi enters a room.

Yes, there should be home clothing that they automatically wear at home. It’s very tedious, especially with large families, to make them all change.

And then you have school outfits you spend an hour doing, and Zoi do not always change into it, or do then change out of when going outside (to school), Kids almost never change into their school outfit going to school.

But I would not mind yet another extra category called “Home” tho that’s what I use everyday for.
Formal needs to be used for work as well (well except for uniform jobs like the furniture/burger places) instead of a generic work attire that supersedes our “Formal” attire.

Since we’re talking new categories, we need to be able to save the entire categories of clothes in one preset (with the zoi, but also as stand-alone wardrobe without the zoi). Otherwise more categories means more work each time we make a zoi.

Good that you’re writing about this. I’ve already reported this on the wishlist before, but my post got buried among others about a month ago. It’s frustrating how Sims walk around in hats and gloves but barefoot, because the household has the shoe removal option enabled. :woman_facepalming:
