After the update installed, I loaded a game that I played last on March 11, 2026. In that game, all the zois living together were Young Adults with 24 days remaining until they become Adults.
They live in an apartment building in Bliss Bay that needed its lobby updated when I loaded the game. (Possibly related?
)
Two characters are siblings. They were created to be twins. I’m not sure if siblings the same age is what caused this? ![]()
When I loaded the game, the sister has 15 days until she ages up, while everyone else had 24 days. I tried to correct this myself with the custom zoi cheat in this manner:
- used the cheat on the sister
- changed the zoi preset to a Middle-Aged zoi I had (I don’t have many older zois yet)
- exit customization, save, enter the custom zoi cheat again for her
- change back to the original zoi preset, dressed her as she should be, etc.
- exit and check the age
She now has 21 days left.
I thought that I could try the same for the twin brother to make them the same age again. I used customzoi on him, changed to a different middle-aged male zoi preset, exit, customize again and go back to the original zoi preset, then exit. And he has the full 30 days of YA life stage! Thankfully, I didn’t save.
I could fix this by moving her out into another household, change that household to not age, and play the other three characters for a few days until they are also at 21 days remaining, move her back in, and go on with life.
That’s a hassle. (No worries, I’ll do it. I’m just stating the obvious.)
However, I need to report this bug for the team and anyone else who had the same thing happen. I will post again in this thread if the new hotfix has made a difference. I will reload the original save from March 11 and test if it loads correctly. (I had tried that three times yesterday, but the result was always the same with the sister having a different age.)
Thank you for checking this report.
