Blonde looks grey and faces mushy

    In the CAZ, the hair (hair color) appears blonde, but in the game world both indoors and outdoors, it always has a gray tint. No matter what settings I adjust.

    Additionally, the faces look nice in the CAZ, but in the game world they look old and “mushy”. Even with ultra settings or other adjustments, this doesn’t improve.

Hi there, there is indeed a downgrade from CAZ graphics to in-game graphics. This is how the game is designed to be currently, so not exactly a bug. Kjun himself has said that they are working on improving in-game graphics, and if you take a look at how it used to be, they have indeed improved a lot already.

As for the greyish look of blonde, since you are not using mods it is indeed a bug. Could you add a screenshot of the colors both in CAZ and in live mode to help the devs tackle the issue?

Not sure regarding the face but for the hair it was even more an issue some time ago. Now it is better but still not perfect, especially for blonde.

The hair in CAZ is light blond:

In the game it is still blonde but the color is darker than in CAZ:

But if you look at the profile picture of the Zoi the hair is always completely grey:

Is it the same way in your game @mielasamira or is it worse than that?

I am playing on ultra settings. This seems to be worse when playing on lower settings.

@EllaEstella My color graphics look exactly like yours. Blonde has the wrong shade in the game.

Indeed, I’ve noticed, but very markedly so, that facial features are erased, pale in Zois zombies mode as soon as they’re in full outdoor light. Taking photos of them in the sun? Terrible! And black hair becomes grayish, and since the anniversary update concerning me, I’m on ultra nonetheless…

Yes, the color difference between CAZ and in live mode is huge. Unfortunately, it’s been that way ever since launch. Just like @EllaEstella said, it’s gotten better with some of the updates but is still nowhere near perfect :slightly_smiling_face:
