Missing translation

I have a similar problem with the Italian translation.
The names of the careers (all of them) are not translated.
Example:

Same with the school as well, I have no idea what grade they are all on and none of them get homework now.

Can confirm. Mine is the same way in English translation.

The game used to show percentages next to languages to show the localization progress for each language, but they removed it, so now untranslated parts look like errors.

The game is not completely localized/translated for each language yet. That’s why Korean is displayed for some areas.

Before the 0.8 update, though, I could see these texts in my language (Italian), from the moment of purchase in March 2025. After the update, instead, they are in Korean.
So the problem isn’t that they haven’t been translated yet, but that they were translated before and now they aren’t.

@mialuce66 Ah, I didn’t see your comments. What OP showed is a new app on the phone, so I assumed it was something that wasn’t translated yet, but now that I see your comment, it probably is an oversight.

Yes, it looks the same with German translation, even though it was displayed correctly before the v0.8.0 update. Can confirm this

This seems to be a Cahaya issue. I just checked and it is exactly as shown in your screenshots @mialuce66 and @clairelou0508 and also the same for German translation as @HeinziDerHeld said. And as I always switch between German and English when playing: English is the same as well.

But not the case for Bliss Bay. See screenshot for Careers (also German works fine here):

And also for school:

Only the name of the new app as @Agakp0 mentioned is in Korean as it seems for all cities and all languages.

You’re right, I hadn’t played Bliss Bay after the update and didn’t notice it.

Yep. I am using the English version and the last button on the phone as shown in the picture is in Korean.

  • No error message. This is a UI design issue that apparently may be only affecting English language users. Whenver the new Freelancer app is opened on a Zoi’s phone, the app is written in Korean? character text instead of English. As illustrated here:

This is a simple string/text fix and does not require a save game upload. No mods were used in the save game as it is a brand new save.
