Hey everyone, I could use some help with my InZoi graphics settings.
After the April update, a bunch of new graphics options were added and I changed a few of them. Since then I’ve been getting FPS drops, lag, and the overall visual quality looks worse than before.
I’m playing on an RTX 4070 Acer Nitro laptop with 32GB RAM, and before the update the game ran perfectly.
If anyone knows the best settings for the new update or how to fix this, I’d really appreciate it.
If you also have an RTX 4070 laptop, it would really help if you could share screenshots of your graphics settings.
hey! I don’t understand much about this and I have a desktop PC, although your laptop seems good. In my case, since the game is now better optimized (from the latest update), I’m no longer going crazy changing things. I’ve left everything at default values. If the grainy shadows under global illumination bother me too much, and if I don’t want to force low-end hardware from ultra to high, which now looks almost the same, I won’t. Hope this helps…
regards
Ah ps. on nvidia dlss super resolution it’s set to “quality”
I do not know what’s wrong with your laptop. I have a Ryzen 5700x and a Radeon RX 9070 XT. After the update, my game started working stably on Ultra graphics settings and high optimization settings. 2K 60 fps is as much as possible, but it doesn’t make sense. Before the update, such indicators could be achieved with medium-high settings.
Connect the MSI Afterburner with Riva. Set the graphics settings to average. Turn off the optimization settings for low DLSS. Start taking the optimization settings up one step. You will need to focus on 0.1% and average Fps. And so you can find where you have a problem. Find out more about the instructions on the Internet.
Thanks for the advice. That’s what confuses me though. I have an AMD Ryzen 9 and an NVIDIA RTX 4070, so my hardware should be more than enough. If I optimize the game through the NVIDIA Control Panel and launch it from there, I get around 160–199 FPS and the game still looks great. But if I launch it normally through Steam, I get lag and FPS drops, sometimes down to 30–40 FPS. So it seems like the issue isn’t the hardware or graphics settings themselves, but something going wrong when launching it through Steam.
Hey… I am using similar settings for the hardware (PC, AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D 12-Core Processor (4.40 GHz), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 (12 GB), AMD Radeon™ Graphics (486 MB)). I have similar problems. The tasks and the timer gets frozen after some minutes. Also, when loading the game from Steam is taking every time longer and longer. How can you load the game from another source? Thanks
I had similar issues too. What helped me was launching the game through the NVIDIA Control Panel instead of Steam and letting NVIDIA optimize the game settings first. Since then it’s been running smoother for me with less freezing and better loading times.
Maybe try that and see if it helps on your setup too.
→ My setup: Win11 Home; Alienware m18 R2; Intel Core i7-14700HX; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070; RAM 32GB; DirectX 12 Ultimate → any 4070 + 32GB RAM user should be able to have it run on those settings. I’ll let you know once the new version is up!
