Feedback after update v0,8,0 - When will I be able to play without a head pain?

Good afternoon, dear developers.
I hope that someday there will be a light stripe in the development of your game, and you will stop breaking everything with each new update.
Last time after update v0,7,0, half of the mods with clothes from ModKit didn’t work. Forum users advised to search for the creators of mods, write them messages and ask them to update their creations.
In addition, there were problems with the installation of old buildings due to the Property System Updates.
For 2 months I was forced to play the old version of the game v0,6,0.
Now, after update v0,8,0, 140 of 150 mods from ModKit are not working. Now I’m faced with a choice: write requests to the authors of 140 mods to update their creations, or wait for better times when updates in the game will stop breaking everything.
Please let me know when it will be possible to play inZOI again without a head pain

I’ve been waiting for the opportunity to repaint the electric guitar for 1 year currently

The game is in early access. I also use 300 mods but i don’t worry about it like you do. Instead of bringing up this ridiculous topic here you could wait for the mods to be updated. I think this topic should be moved to the Q&A section. @HeinziDerHeld ?

I’m just saying that in the old versions since v0,2 to v0,6, updates didn’t break or put an end to all the content released before. The mods will update over the weeks. During this time, some other hotfix or update will be released, after which everything will not work again.
It’s funny to you. I’m just giving feedback, a subjective opinion.
And now there is no desire to return to the game before the full release, which is not coming soon

Before the update all my mods were disabled just like yours. 1-2 days later i repackaged installed and activated all my 300 mods and now i’m playing without any problems.Bringing this up here is completely inappropriate. other priority topics are being pushed down. This is a complaint topic not feedback.

Oh! To give feedback it “is completely inappropriate”. Thanks! It’s use to know

You can hibernate like a bear or a hedgehog. When release version v1,0,0 will come out, I’ll wake you up

@juliaa - hey there, thank you for posting this feedback. For visibility, I think it’d be best if you referenced the date of the brainstorm with Kjun session in the title, e.g. [05.01.26]. This is only a recommendation. I’d also advise you to post another thread in Wishlist where for example, you mention that mods are currently breaking / difficult to enable after recent updates and that you’re hoping for further improvement with that

@Mazikeen - hey friend, thanks for asking, but IMHO this is more of a feedback thread than a question about the game, so I won’t move it. Thank you for keeping your eyes out though :slightly_smiling_face: btw, I know this is usually just because of the translation in this forum, but please refrain from “belittling” feedback or worries from others. We all have different opinions on certain topics, and I get kinda worked up about it too sometimes, but experiences vary, so please try to keep that in mind :folded_hands:

Hi. Thank you for your understanding and for the friendly and patient response. I do not know how to formulate this idea into a topic in Wishlist. On the one hand, mods are the responsibility of the creators of mods. This is a head pain for developers, but not their problem, not their responsibility. But on the other hand, there will be other updates before the release, and each time after new updates there will be a delay of weeks or months until the authors update some mods, and some will not even update at all.

I have no idea how to automate this process so that it stops being a head pain for developers, and does not depend on the creators of the mods themselves

Get patient, my friend. In all your pockets and bags

Yes, I see. You could simply describe the issues you’re having currently and ask for a solution, so further updates won’t break the mods completely again. I think many users would support that wishlist thread
