While the current freeform character creation in CAZ is impressive and gives us a lot of freedom, it can also be difficult to precisely adjust facial features. Sometimes a small movement of the mouse changes the face more than expected, which makes it hard to recreate a specific look or achieve symmetry.
I’d like to suggest adding numeric sliders for each adjustable feature (e.g. eyes, nose, mouth, jawline, etc.). This way, players could:
-
Make more accurate adjustments without “overshooting” the shape.
-
Save and share exact values with others, making it easier to recreate or refine characters.
-
Have more consistency when creating multiple characters or editing the same character later.
This wouldn’t take away the freedom of freeform editing—players who enjoy dragging can still do so—but it would give an optional layer of precision for those who want it. Many character creation systems in other games combine both freeform sculpting and sliders, which creates the best of both worlds.
I think this feature would make CAZ even more user-friendly and powerful for players who love detailed customization.

Just a small addition to my original post:
Thank you so much to the Inzoi team for all your hard work on CAZ. The system already looks amazing and fun to use, and I really appreciate the freedom it gives players. My suggestion about numeric sliders is only meant to add a little extra precision, not to replace the great freeform editing that’s already there. Looking forward to seeing how CAZ continues to grow!

That would be awesome!
With this we could also ‘copy’ a nose (for example) we like from one to another Zoi!
And it would be a workaround to get my Zoi’s eyes finally symmetrical!

Great idea, esp for sharing with other people! its nice that we can upload to Canvas but this would be so much better for if I see a nose or mouth or whatever that I like and wanna emulate on a zoi.

Would be nice to have numeric input for the age of our zoi as well.
Good Idea for the editing tho !

Late to the party, but I always hated the drag system in Sims 4, and really would love to see numeric sliders as an option in this game also.
The drag system isn’t very intuitive to me, and it makes adding custom sliders a pain!

My opinion has not changed since then, this addition would be HUGE !

Hello again!
I recently downloaded and checked the latest version of CAZ after several months because I was hoping this feature might have been added.
Unfortunately, I still could not find any form of numeric sliders or precise value-based editing.
My opinion has not changed since my original post.
For creators who focus on character design, screenshots, storytelling, pose scenes, and long-term character projects, numeric sliders would be an incredibly valuable addition.
The current freeform editing system is visually impressive and flexible, but precise adjustments can still be difficult when trying to:
• Maintain facial symmetry
• Recreate a character accurately
• Share character settings with other creators
• Return to a character months later and make consistent edits
I want to emphasize that I am not suggesting replacing the current sculpting system. I still think the freeform editing is one of CAZ’s strengths.
I am only hoping for an optional precision mode that would allow creators to see and adjust exact values when needed.
After revisiting the latest version, this remains the single feature I would most like to see added to CAZ.
Thank you again to the inZOI team for all the hard work and continuous improvements.

Still want this so very much.
Seeing it in action in Paralives makes me want it even more now.

Yes, I’d love to see that in inZOI too. The sliders in Paralives make the paramaker a lot easier and more useful, especially if you want to document your paras / zois. Hopefully they’ll add it soon
