I’m not sure if this is a bug or intended, but the new active reporter career only seems to have 2 work tasks per day, which limits progress and is somewhat dull. Also, signing up for overtime results in no further tasks, meaning my zoi is just sitting there doing nothing.

This is the only one of the new active jobs I have tried so far, so not sure if the others work the same way. Obviously I am comparing the task list to that in the older jobs such as Adam Entertainment, which has 4 or 5 tasks per day, and the task list does not disappear after completing a scheduled action.

I hope the new jobs will be better fleshed out in future updates.

Edit: Overtime tasks seem to appear after overtime has finished on the schedule (ie: around 8pm). This is also quite odd, and perhaps not as intended?

Noticed same thing with the IT job as far as overtime… My poor zoi was starving and expecting to go home after trying to do some extra hustle for her first day of work and then finally it gave her tasks :roll_eyes:

Also a coworker sat in her chair to read for the first hour making it impossible for her to even get work done in the first place. Talk about a rough first day!

I noticed that too. It’s definitely a bug.

When that happens to me, I choose a dialogue that forces them to get up from my chair, and then I quickly take my spot :grin:
