There hasn’t been any message or official post from the developers regarding an ongoing fix related to Steam and the game. There really should be some kind of statement or explanation about the situation so players experiencing the issue can feel reassured, instead of just being left waiting without any information.

The main issue you’re referring to is this one, right? After update 0.8.0 , Steam authentication failed, please restart steam client

The team usually reads through all of the posts and is well aware of any bug mentioned in the forum. If you’re worried about it, it’s always best to check whether another thread has been merged with the one you’re worried about.
