When my Zoi baked cookies for a birthday party I notice that he can’t eat them. I have been trying to take out from the bag but as soon as I click to eat them the plate go back to his bag. I am sending a little video about the issue.
Try the following so that we can gather more info.
Does the issue occur in a new game? Or was this issue seen (only) in a saved game from a previous game version (which version)?
If the cookie plate is first placed on a table, and then the Eat action selected, can the Zoi eat? (If yes, then the action to Eat when holding the plate in hand is not working. Also try this with the next point.). Can another Zoi eat these cookies when placed on the table?
Is this issue only with this particular item (perhaps it has spoiled?) or does it occur with any other baked and cooked dishes and also with drinks that are put in the bag?
Does this issue occur with dishes taken out from the refrigerator, drinks from vending machines, coffee from the coffee maker; and held in the hand? — that is, items directly from their source and not from the Zoi’s inventory (bag).
Is this issue only with this Zoi or also with any other Zois? (for example, in Zoi preferences - dislikes sweets. Not that I have seen such behavior, but could be new in this game version)

I checked everything and I only see this error on the plates that he can bake in the oven. All the bakery plates are having the same issue. I did the emergency rescue to reset my Zois. I still have the same issue. I am going to try with a different family or a new gameplay. I started a new gameplay and I have the same issue as well. Only with bakery. The other plates cooked in the stove are working fine.
have you tried placing it on a counter or a table and then click on the eat a piece option? that is the only viable option for me atleast also they do not take a plate automaticly if you cook a family meal unless you instruct them to do so otherwise they will cook food that is single potion or eat fast food when they are hungry.
Yes you need to click on the zoi and tell them to drink their coffee they do not do that automaticly yet , they can make coffee but you need to tell them to drink it.
I found 5 coffee cups in my zoi’s inventory the other day that she had done and they were all good quality so the autonomous only works half way.
We can only pray and hope the team will continue to work on the zoi’s automaticity behaviour
There is still tons of gaps in their social routines but they have come a long way so
I do not have any problem with other plates. I only noticed that the baked plates go back to the bag. There are not able to pick a piece unless you left the plate on the table.
