You did a very nice job on the parks in Dowon, but it’s hard to enjoy them immersively with all the howling in the background. Perhaps they are common in Korea, but I don’t think they are elsewhere, including the USA.
So, please limit the volume or locations of open-microphones in parks. The other, non-vocal musicians do not seem grating at all, but the worst experience occurs when ALL mics. ALL instrument, and ALL powered speakers are utilized simultaneously. ![]()
Options include:
-
Controlling the volume of the singers or the audible range of their disruption.
-
Limiting mics to certain parks only (but not the riverfront of Dowon that provides fishing and chess and other peaceful activities
-
Provide the ability to confront npc singers and ask or demand they take a LONG break.
-
Limit the open mics to certain days of the week (weekends only? 12am-6am?)
Thanks!
