Steps to Reproduce: Removed all mods.
Reinstalled the game.
Verified integrity of game files through Steam.
Disabled the Steam Overlay.
Launch the game and open the Mods Management tab.
Select Browse CurseForge.
The CurseForge browser remains stuck on the loading screen for approximately five minutes before the game closes to desktop without an error message.
Cleared the Steam Download Cache
Details: Please share the date, error message, or screenshots/videos for issue verification. : the game launches normally and I can access the Mods Management tab without any issues. However, when I select Browse CurseForge, the CurseForge browser begins loading but remains stuck on the loading screen for approximately five minutes with no progress. After that, the game suddenly closes to desktop without displaying any error message, crash report, or warning.
I have already removed my mods and reinstalled the game, but the issue persists.
Has there been any fixes to this problem yet i’ve been trying for three days straight to fix my game and nothing is working is starting to get frustrating
Looking through the recent replies, it seems this issue is still affecting people even after the latest patch, and there also appear to be a few different behaviors under the same thread:
Clicking Browse CurseForge does nothing.
CurseForge gets stuck loading and then the game crashes.
Connect works but CurseForge doesn’t.
CurseForge works but Connect doesn’t.
If anyone new is still experiencing this, could you please make sure you’ve filled out the full bug report template? Even if you think your specs aren’t related, they really help the team identify common factors between reports.

Whether you’ve never used mods, removed them, or still have active mods

Whether only the Browse CurseForge button is affected or if Connect also has issues.

Whether this started after the June update, after using Sync Mods, after removing mods, or without any obvious trigger.
Have you verified the files in Steam?
Are you using any mods from outside of curseforge, or script mods at all?
When i click curseforge, i originally had VRAM crashes, now i have “application hung, will now close” popups after a continuous black “loading content” screen. Hangs on curseforge load about 15 minutes.

Whether you’ve never used mods, removed them, or still have active mods ~ I do use mods, I’ve tried removing with no luck. Both the .paks folder & the documents mod folder. Even my textures & canvas files just in case.
Whether only the Browse CurseForge button is affected or if Connect also has issues. ~ Yes only curseforge is affected. connect works well, just verified!
Whether the standalone CurseForge application works normally outside the game. ~ If you mean the genuine Curseforge app, yes. it runs well, is updated and recognizes my other downloaded games.
Whether this started after the June update, after using Sync Mods, after removing mods, or without any obvious trigger. ~ Yes this is only after the June update. I actually reverted my game back to the 04/29 update to continue using curseforge until this is fixed.

Are you using any mods from outside of curseforge, or script mods at all? I had a couple downloaded locally though .paks (a phone app icon pack & replacement hairs), but I’ve tried loading with both forms of mods removed.

Just an FYI I suggest roll back go into curseforge and delete/unsub your mods its so much quicker on the new update to download mods back and because inzoi just had a whole mod overhaul you they are not gonna update easy
Hi! I ran into this problem too. CurseForge was working yesterday. Today, the game crashes when I try to log in to CurseForge and it gives a video memory error.

bump. this worked for me! My game would close when i went to curseforge. I reverted back to the april/may version and deleted all my mods, then update and redownloaded all my mods, and was able to open curseforge in the new version! TY!
