GPU Overheating and Crashing to Black Screen After Recent Update

Since the latest update, the game is forcing my GPU usage abnormally high, causing severe stuttering and freezing. While playing, the screen goes completely black for a moment, and then the game crashes straight to the desktop.

Prior to this patch, I was always able to play the game smoothly since launch on High/Ultra settings without any performance or temperature issues. Now, even if I lower all graphics settings to the absolute minimum to optimize performance, the game still overheats my GPU, the graphics look terrible, and the crashes persist. This is a completely new issue that didn’t happen before.

  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 (8 GB)

  • RAM: 16.0 GB

  • Storage: SSD

Have you already taken a look at this performance guide? inZOI – Graphics & Performance Guide (revised after update v0.8.2) → If none of the info in the guide helps you, please show us your in-game settings with screenshots. Your RAM is at the lowest requirement for inZOI though, so this might cause some trouble :thinking:
