A Stranger's Death. Why Is Zoe So Upset About It?

Please make it so that Zoey doesn’t grieve over the death of a stranger.
My character received a notification about the death of a person she didn’t even know.
He once simply sent her a party invitation and she declined.

Now that this Zoey is dead, my character has to suffer for 8 hours? Why? What for?

I specifically loaded a previous save to check if my Zoey really cared that much about this Flynn Meyer. And look at this. He’s nobody:
