First of all, I’d like to apologize once again for sharing the update schedule later than expected. Our next update is currently planned for June 18.
To be honest, there was a possibility that the update could have been delayed even further. Recently, the inZOI team has been focusing on strengthening the depth and immersion of the game’s core systems. In particular, we are improving the way autonomous behaviors, personalities, memories, and relationships interact with one another so that the world of inZOI feels more alive and believable for players.
We are also adjusting some of our development priorities to further improve the quality of animations and the life simulation experience. As our team has grown significantly, these kinds of transitions naturally require some time, but we believe they are necessary steps toward building a stronger foundation for the future of the game.
I know that this week’s pitch update may not be exactly what many of you were hoping to hear, and I’m sorry for that. However, starting next week, we hope to share more about how inZOI is evolving into a game that stays true to its core strengths and vision.
Thank you, as always, for your patience, support, and encouragement.
Thank you! I already watched the breakdown of the new version. It really looks amazing! The school is just like the real thing! All these meticulously detailed classrooms, lessons, lunch breaks… Awesome!!!
And it doesn’t matter that there’s a delay - the important thing is that you told us the date (even if it gets postponed again)! That’s really wonderful, it’s so nice when you give us something concrete like that!
I hope the “first person mode” will work correctly there, because for some reason it didn’t have any effect before. I can’t wait to see how it will be implemented!
There are a lot of exciting features in this update. I just hope this time it finally allows me to play the game again after all these weeks of waiting for a fix to the “Steam Verification False” error. That’s honestly all I’m hoping for.
Omg, June 18, that’s less than a week from now! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m sooo looking forward to all those incredible new features. I’m so excited, I can hardly wait!
I’m so glad that Sims can now sit on chairs from both sides! This is exactly what I was going to write in the “Wishlist” section of the forum, because I love playing in small houses, and my characters are constantly making a huge detour around the table just to sit on a chair from a specific side. But you’ve already fixed that, so I’m thrilled, thank you!
And the ability to change positions on the couch and bed without having to get up every time is also really great. I hope that over time, the list of interactions where Sims won’t need to get up from chairs and so on to move to the next action will keep expanding.
I noticed in the video that a character sits down at the table while holding a laptop in their hand, and then can put it on the table after sitting down. I wonder if this works with food? Right now, I don’t like that Sims first pick up a plate of food, then walk to the table, put the plate down, and then go to a chair and sit down. It feels like too long a path that takes a lot of time. I’d love it if Sims could pick up a plate and immediately sit on a chair while holding the plate, then put the plate on the table and start eating. That would reduce the number of unnecessary interactions and improve the overall feel of the game! So I hope that one day this will be fixed.
I’m looking forward to the update on the 18th, excited about the new open school, and can’t wait to play! Thank you to the team for the hard work
