Smart Zoi Locked on RTX 4060 Laptop GPU Despite Meeting Requirements

    • Acer Predator Helios Laptop

    • Windows 11

    • 13th Gen Intel Core Processor

    • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU

    • 8 GB VRAM (7956 MB detected)

    • 16 GB RAM

    • SSD Storage

    Issue Date: June 18, 2026

    Error Message:
    “Can only be enabled on systems with AMD RX 6000 series (12 GB VRAM or higher) or NVIDIA RTX 3000 series (8 GB VRAM or higher) graphics cards.”

    Details:
    Smart Zoi is unavailable and only displays the compatibility message above. My laptop uses an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU with 8 GB VRAM and 16 GB RAM, which appears to meet the listed requirements.

    I have already:

    • Updated to the latest NVIDIA drivers

    • Verified game files through Steam

    • Confirmed that inZOI is running on the NVIDIA GPU in Task Manager

    • Set the game to use the High-Performance NVIDIA processor

    • Set graphics settings to High

    The only mods installed are cosmetic hair and clothing mods. No gameplay or system-related mods are being used.

    Is the RTX 4060 Laptop GPU currently supported for Smart Zoi, or could this be a hardware detection issue?

Hey there, welcome to the inZOI forum!

First off, the 16 GB RAM meet the requirements, but they’re quite low for a graphic and especially VRAM heavy inZOI. SmartZOI needs additional RAM to work properly, so it’s very likely that the game automatically chooses not to make SmartZOI available, because it drastically increases the chance of crashes on your setup :slightly_smiling_face:
