I’m currently playing in Bliss Bay, in a new save. All the NPC students are Adolescents. The only teens are the 3 from another household I created and the 1 from my current household I’m playing. A total of 4 teens. The other 15 are adolescents.
Following. The whole school in Dowon is full of Adolescents and only 4 teens from households I play. The interactions feel awkward. They need an intermediate school for adolescents.
There’s another issue in Bliss Bay where children now get on a bus and fall into a rabbit hole, and after school they simply end up at home. As a result, I’ve only encountered one other child in the town besides my own. There used to be few children as well, but at least you could run into them after school, whereas now you can’t find them at all. There are very few children in the city.
it is the same when you visit the city playgrounds instead of finding kids you find adults playing with the toys and being stupidly rude towards one and another.
Not a very healthy enviroment for a child i would say.
About the bug if you guys can toss in a savefile please do so the team can see for themselves.
I only tried to brief moment and i only saw pre teens occupying high school before i went back to my original save. ( i figured i was going to give my gen 4 another try and see how it works out since the game have been updated few times)
Hey, it seems like the developers have deprived our kids of a “normal” school and everything that comes with it, no friends, no events, and finding a child in the city is a problem In all the high schools in all cities - there are early-stage teenagers, wow, second-stage teenagers are nowhere to be found - only my zoi and how do I play?! Developers, please bring back the school gameplay for children!
I noticed and i have posted a savefile that the game generates npc’s that is on the opposite then your zoi or zoi’s instead of generating zoi’s like your zoi or zoi’s
I am talking avout the general townies , school npc’s etc etc.
This is not how it should be because the game is designed to generate so you can have a sim town that appeals to you so you can meet zoi’s like your zoi.
I am not sure what the high school patch did to the generator but it did something and it’s not good.
The only thing that seem to be working (at least it did for me) was that the families that moved in after awhile they were designed to be more like the zoi that i had created.
I never had these problem before( i got a 14 generation gameplay that can testify for that and that savefile it’s heavily modded to)
My blueberry zoi however slowly turned into being the only asian in dowon and i tried to fend it off by placing pre designed townies and it just didn’t work.
I brought in the Yang/Kim family to see if it was just a fluke and guess what the game started to do.. mass spawning elders .
That generator isn’t working as it should after this patch.
Now that I’ve read your comment, the other issue I’ve been experiencing matches this exactly. I’m my save, I created a single mother zoi who is an adult, her teen son, and a daughter “child”. I’ve tried taking the mother several places to meet npcs to find her a date and they’ve all been YA’s instead of Adults. I have not seen any child zois, but my child in this save does have a friend that texts her daily, although I have never had her exchange contacts. I never play with the child zois so I’m also not sure if they have the option to ask for contact information.
Well now the zoi’s are amazingly busy with building their skills the kids are more difficult to come by but i have noticed that they tend to pop by the park every now and then. I have been bringing back my farmer save and it has taken a while since most of my builts were not fitting anymore , but Cahaya have been offering more options when it comes down to family play and it is the perfect place if anyone is interested into the small town lifestyle. You can re decorate the town and most builts can be changed.
The only problem is it’s missing job opportunities and healthcare facility and such but there is ways around it , freelance is one of them or publish books and music is another.
I have taken notice since Cahaya is smaller the game is behaving better.
I think i only had some issues in the beginning but now after 3 generations it seem to be working more smoothly.
The game had a hiccup yesterday but today it’s working.
Since sleep eludes me gravely i figured i could tell that after the hotifix we are back in square one ..
I created a new save having an idea about a story and instead of helping the game did the opposite
The game made sure she was the only asian in dowon and the only zoi that was a pacifist and devoted and her kids were the only kids in the city.
Again it tried to make the zoi i had created to feel like she was an alien
Guys i got an suggestion ok Instead forcing the game to come up with new zoi’s isn’t it better to code the game so it can pick the homeless zois we are having in our family library ? Maxis did this and we loved them for it because this way every creator had a unique chance to create stories that suited for them it also made sure no dublicates were created in the process.
Just asking that is all since this is clearly going to repeat itself over and over again as soon as we get a patch or a hotfix..it must be tiresome for you guys same it is for us…

ps after it became better for few days it’s back again and now the game became amazingly rude, i had a save with europeans and asian families and the game took it as an offensive thing and started to mass flood afroamericans , i used customzoi cheat on 4 zoi’s and the game went bonker shortly after and started to send zoi’s around in the city and used every mural painting area and painted the afroamerican face ..it was all over the city ( i tried Dowon again) ..it was the same thing when i had an indoneasian , mediterranean save and boom same thing it started to spam afroamericans and it even got worse when i started to use the removezoi cheat because the ghosts came for my zoi’s each and everyone of them and haunted them .. i mean why them and only them..? is there no other way to safely remove zoi’s without"killing " them because that is exactly what removezoi is today i gave up.. i deleted my save.. ( this is my second after the highschool patch) it is no longer me who is playing the game it is the game who is playing by borrowing our saves just to play the game.
