First of let me start by saying; I’m not sure if this should be a wishlist but i belive it may add to the elements of improving the everyday kids life/ gameplay by using some of the systems that already exists in game (and maybe implementing a few new ones)
That being said, I completely love the idea & the direction the developers took by having the high school system be an active system just for Teens also to prevent an overkill on experience on the active school system.
However, I do believe the kids also deserve a bit of love to improve their everyday life - gearing from routines like: home - school - homework - repeat - to adding some rich elements to how they form friendships/social skills and learn/improve diverse skills (think about the activities/clubs you enroll your actual kids in)
Therefore, Instead of an active school for children & adolescents; they could have active after school activities/clubs that are age appropriate and would be unique to their age group (so different or slightly different from high school clubs) to avoid an overkill of experience or repetition
Benefits:

Kid Zois can engage and start to pick up & learn relevant skills in preparation for their teenage- adult days

It will also encourage the game to create more kids and adolescents zois in town especially for kids appropriate locations like park, playground, beach, etc (as this is a bit lacking)

Kids can also begin to develop childhood friends (or child crush) with other kids in their clubs or another club - and perhaps some of these kids also get to attend the active high school - so they continue being friends/enemies even.
- Side idea: Maybe a ‘propose to attend same school’ or after school club (with a failure/success rate depending on relationship, etc) could be an option in the game so that when children/teens make friends outside school, they could have this option in their menu pie and if successful, they will see their “new friend” in the same club/school from the next school day
This after school club could also serve as a place for your kids to be at, while you focus on your other adult/teen zois

Generally more things for kids to do, and even better, do together in a group (rather than doing these things separately at home and having players to sometimes ignore kids skills since they are mostly focused on their teen/adult zois)
Implementation ideas

Active Hours- school days (Monday - Friday) except public holidays

There could be a separate active building where these activities take place - 2/3 clubs could be having activities on the same day so kids could also befriend other kids from other clubs if they wish

This system should be completely optional: so you don’t engage if you don’t enroll you kid zoi in an after school club and even if you do enroll - you don’t have to actively always play as your kid zoi - kids zois can perform the relevant club tasks/activities autonomously without players directives to build skills and socialize, however players that want to be actively involved can also be fully involved as well.

Kid zois could be allowed to join up to 2/ 3 activities that happens on different days to allow experiences to be more diverse and less repetitive (or whatever makes sense for the dev per implementation)

They can leave a club and enroll in other clubs at anytime

Once a kid zoi is enrolled in a club a “go to after school club” agenda appears in their schedule after school hours (like the go to work/school schedule before the active work hours/high school) that would help them navigate on time to their club building

The actual hours could last 3,5 hours- 4 hours until 6.30pm or so ⁃ The first hour could be a free time as to allow zois attend to their needs, have lunch or snacks / socialize with other kids

Actual school Homework on active club days could be minimal to 1/2 tasks - or some home works could even be structured in such a way that they could be achieved during club activities because the tasks are similar like singing/piano, reading, researching etc

Maybe different clubs could have their club uniforms that kids can change into?

Different clubs will of course have teen/adults as mentors/coaches
- Side idea: This could also be a part time job for teens/adults (between 4.30 - 6.30 pm for Teens due to their school engagement as well)
Some ideas for children and adolescents clubs ** Different activities per club day could happen around the club theme to keep things less repetitive

Swimming & fitness club - indoor swimming pool; work outs; using relevant gym equipments, etc

Arts & crafts club - painting, paper crafts, friendship bracelets, slime, clay, etc
- Side idea: could also be an idea to introduce pottery making as a hobby for adults and also as a business activity to make and or sell items

Science & chess club- experimenting with science objects, chess games, mini chess tournaments, etc

Music & Recitals club - musical instruments, singing, group singing/recitals, etc

Gymnastics could be a new activity added in the game

Little bakers & lemonade club- Little baking oven for kids, for easy recipes like cookies (or things you can easily bake with kids IRL) making lemonade, running a lemonade/baking sale, etc

Drama & little writers club: wearing costume, play pretend in different themes, **puppet shows, writing children fictions & reciting them to the group, researching relevant topics, reading etc

Ballet & Dance club - some days you’re practicing ballet some days kids are practicing hip hop and dance battles, etc
- Side idea: Could also be an idea to have a ballet and dance studio around town (for adults who want to take this up as a hobby) - ballet classes, hip hop, & Waltz and also as a business activity
Excursions, hang outs/club gatherings with same clubs or even in combination with 1/2 other clubs

Outside of the main active building - clubs could also schedule excursions, hangouts OR club gathering events to locations such as museasums, playground, park, beach, library, etc

- They could send a message/notification to the parents/family/household adults to consent to these excursions/hangout.club gathering events that take place outside of the club building
Main Goals - Clubs to be just for fun to build skills and interact with other kids or could be geared towards a main goal that could happen in the club exhibition auditorium/hall :

Exhibition ( things that can be created like painting, creations etc can be displayed for exhibition to parents/ the public)

Fund raising ( some things like lemonade, baking or some of these other can be sold to the parents/ public for a cause OR clubs could perform their activities for a fundraising events )
