Realistic vehicle parking.

  1. I would like to be able to leave the vehicle anywhere, in a parking lot, near a park, wherever cars are parked, and have it stay there instead of disappearing.

It just looks a bit strange that I drive up to a park, park the car, and the vehicle disappears.

  1. You could also add a penalty system if you leave the vehicle in an inappropriate place.

The vehicle needs to exist even when you’re not using it.

  1. Also, if it’s possible to leave the vehicle anywhere, it would make sense to add a garage that you can build and customize, and be able to drive the car onto your property or into a garage. The only thing would be to make interactive garage doors.

  2. And if Zoe is autonomous, she could drive the vehicle to the nearest parking spot.

  3. You could also implement paid parking)

  4. And for bicycles, it would be cool if you could leave them at the store on a bike rack.

The garage door already exists and it opens, so the developers surely plan to implement an active garage on the lot.
I support the idea that cars shouldn’t disappear and everything you described in your post..

I support almost everything, except for paid parking and fines for improper parking.

Transferring these elements from real life won’t improve the game in any way. On the contrary—these things annoy everyone in real life, and they’ll be the same in the game.

Parking mats can be added for vehicles. Like in Sims 2 and 3. @LeeLoo @Carnel What’s your opinions my friends? :+1:

Why mats? I just want to drive into my garage.

It also works inside garages. Screenshot from my old Sims 3 save file. Pay attention to the front of the car.

i read something on reddit from kjun about parking the car anywhere and apparently the code doesn’t allow it. it doesn’t surprise me since the sims 2 and 3, even though they have garages and parking lots, also don’t let you leave it parked just anywhere.

my solution would be that once we get out of the car, it automatically parks itself in the parking spot without having to click on it.

I think this might be a great solution actually! They might opt for designated parking spots (apparently someone has already made a mod so cars won’t despawn once you park them). I just really hope we will be able to park our cars in the future!

Parking spots - like part of the asphalt, with a designation “this is my parking spot”? Well, that would be nice if the game could more easily control the car’s position in the area that way. Especially if our Sims drive and park themselves, rather than us controlling them.

Although overall, the game already does it that way right now. But the ability to mark a spot ourselves for “automatic parking” would be convenient, yeah! :+1:

Yes we should be able to install parking spots in front of our homes.

That’s exactly what I was going to say @Mazikeen, you beat me to it but since I’ve already taken the photo I insist, if it’s difficult to configure something else I’m happy just being able to park the car in front of my house, besides garages don’t go with my little houses and please I want my car in pretty colors and for someone to take those scooters away!, I really don’t like them being there all the time…

cheers :slightly_smiling_face:

We should be able to set up a special garage and park in front of our own homes. :innocent:

I agree too.

Sorry, when I posted the previous comment, I didn’t know that second-hand vehicles can actually be parked on the street  , what a surprise! I’m just finding out now :face_savoring_food: , for the ones bought new I suppose they’ll expand it too, because I don’t know if there’s a translation error because I don’t understand the difference between buying used or buying new in order to park in that parking lot.

So that’s it, I’m saying it in case there’s someone as scatterbrained as me (although I doubt it… )

You’re right, we need to have more parking options, on private land or inside the garage, but for now this works for me, I’ll buy them used :+1:

have a good day :pink_heart:

I think it should be this way. What do you think?

Seems more than enough for me. This way, we don’t need to spawn our vehicle out of our pocket and our vehicles feel more physical. Same for bycicles etc as well.

That nostalgia is hitting deep hearing those sound effects and music again.

Yes, quite a good option - to mark the parking spot ourselves, and all the problems would be solved :+1:

Guys, I’ve already raised this topic here [05.29.26] Still Moving Forward (Updated) - #7 by NIck_Olay . Please link my idea here as an addition. Everything is interestingly painted there.

I downloaded a parking space without the curb because no one has curbs in their yard, it made it more realistic of having cars parked in yards

im going to look for that, good look :head_shaking_vertically::ok_hand:

I just got into using mods in inzoi literally yesterday bc I realized I could download cribs to set up my zois nursery. and I also agree with you and the others @Mazikeen; I usually have zois park their car outside of their home/active job area but by the time I need it, it’s despawned  having those little driveways we had back in TS3/2 would be clutch
