yeah it is a silly bug when you are having a family of 8 and trying to cook and serve and because when one zoi have finished eating and start cleaning up everything goes.
Anggra had his birthday as he became 18 and maria tried so hard to cook and serve because whenever she managed to set the table with event food it only takes few seconds before another zoi stopped by that table just to clean it up so i figured maybe she should cook some family meals instead but it didn’t take long before it turned into a battle.
It felt like watching another episode of master chief
Same is happening when you are owning a business if your zoi is eating close to the food counters the food inside the counters is going poof when they are cleaning up their lunch .
It seem to be a radius,if you place a plate of food in the next room it will stay
I had removed maria’s food business for now because it felt a bit pointless

inZOI Monday blues continues. I really like the game and I know it is in early access, but it feels like for every hotfix we get, things break even more or something new breaks in its place. I really want to play, but the current bugs make it exhausting, which is why I will pause on the game for a while. Still love for the dev team
Heya! I think your bug might be related to this issue. Some comments report the cleaning issue about meals as well. Maybe the staff can merge it together to give it more attention.
When a family-sized dish is served on the table, as soon as a Zoi finishes eating and goes to clear their plate, it automatically removes all the plates as well as the family dish, even if the other Zoi haven’t finished eating yet.
The food doesn’t disappear zois automatically wash plates after they have finished eating, they simply also wash the leftover food. If you cancel the eating interaction right as your zoi is full, you can then put the food in the fridge and then afterwards choose to wash the plates. It should be made the zoi won’t wash up plates with uneaten food in it.

My own food also just disappeared after a short moment. I finished eating, washed the plate, left the leftovers outside and while my Zoi was in the bathroom, the food disappeared.
When my zois cook a family meal, everyone can grab a plate but if there is food leftover, like a full untouched plate, the zoi will clean it up with their empty plate. It is wasting food! I never have food left over to put in the fridge. I am wasting money too.

Steps to Reproduce: Cook a Family-Size Pancakes. The Zoi will place it on the dining table. Take a portion and eat it. As soon as the Zoi is finished eating and stand up to clean the dishes, the remainder of the family meal disappears.

This seems to be a new bug since the June Update. Previously Zois were only cleaning up group meals from the table after eating if the meal was older. I don’t remember how many hours it was. But at least if a Zoi cooked for the entire family everybody had a couple of hours time to grab a plate before somebody would clean it up after eating. And also it was always completely safe to place the group meal on a counter nearby. In those cases even older food was not cleaned up autonomously. Very annoying as this makes it really hard to manage for bigger families with kids.
But I found one exception which does not help much though… On a business lot the group meal stays on the table after the Zoi finishes his food. But this is only for the reason that Zois are not properly cleaning up after eating at business lots.
100% agreed. I started having issues with this either in 0.7.0 era or 0.8.0, unsure.
A lot of things pertaining to large families need to be addressed, but the food wastage is one of them.
