My game keeps freezing until I have to force quit. I’m playing on steam on MacBook Pro.

When exactly does your game freeze? Is it always at the same time, e.g. when reaching the main menu, loading the save file, etc. OR at different times? 
As it has been said before, giving some more information as to when and how the game freezes would help us help you better. Is it at the beginning of the game, homescreen, when entering CAZ or starting a new save?
There are no certain times because it happens whenever, but always during gameplay.

So crashes have happened only when in live mode. Always after playing normally for a certain amount of time or also after only about 5 minutes in?
