Helloo, I thought I’d drop in an idea for mod installations through curseforge.

So when you hit continue a popup now comes up in the right corner saying “installing __ mods” but it seems when that happens it tries to install them all at once, forcing the game shut & forcing you to individually download each one at the popup when you reopen the game.

I was thinking maybe there is some kind of way to add a “limit” to the number of mods able to download concurrently in the settings? Like an option for say between 1-10 mods at the same time, allowing the user to select the option fit for their computer & minimizing the crash chance while installing.

Hopefully this is the right place to bring this up lol, let me know if i should tell this to curseforge as well!

I don’t want any limit. My game isn’t crashing.

I probably could’ve worded this better, but I do not mean a limit as for how many you can download in general. An *optional* “limit” only for how many will download at the same time, not for how many you can download total & not for how many show up in the popup.

So say i install 300 all at once using the popup, the downloading goes in batches of 3-10 mods instead of all 300 all at the same time, which causes very high spikes in memory even on high end pcs. Again this could be an optional & adjustable ‘limit’ for each user. I of course don’t want a limit as for how many mods can use / download in total as I use A LOT :sweat_smile:
