  • Error Message: Unninstalling above 50 mods

  • Details: I’ve bought inZOI almost on release and have played it a bit, around 30 hours, but I wanted it more to future, and after few months at the start of this year, thought about see it again, and, it seems pretty more evolved with mods and all, but, the system inside of click on mod subscribe, back, enter another, got me a bit bored, like, it seems like it took too much, so, I’ve come to sync it with curseforge to make it a little bit easier, not that in the curseforge were good, just slightly better. The thing is, I’ve noticed that after certain point, I’ve subscribed on curseforge, but the mod didn’t downloaded on my game, for some reason, the 50 is just the number I’ve noticed it is trapped now. I’ve checked, for example, two mods, from print, both I’ve subscribed on CurseForge site, one installed automatically, the Dex Computers, the other, don’t, and I’ve had to subscribe inside the game for it to download. Now, every time I enter the mods page, I need to cancel for the game to not unninstall it. At first I’ve thought it was the game uninstalling too old mods that were not compatible anymore, but the Dex Computers is even older than Wall shelf.

Both mods if I open CurseForge on site, they say I’m subscribed, on the account settings, my CurseForge account is linked with my Steam account with the game, so it is, it downloaded 50 mods for me. Yet, it refuses to do up from 50. I’ve got a bit upset seeing another topic from someone with some sittuation like mine being said answered like “it isn’t an issue“ and closed the topic. Even thought I guess he didn’t explained fully like I’m doing now, but this deffinitely is a problem, I can’t even install mods from inside the game that it keeps trying to unninstall them, evem subscription appearing both on game and site. I’ll problably unlink steam and CurseForge account and keep using without it for now until I can solve this problem, I’ve tryied use Google Gemini Pro to help me but didn’t quite found the culprit for this problem. I guess this might be a problem from CurseForge, but as long it is in InZOI game, I’ve decided to come here to see if I could find a solution.

Just to add since I’ve noticed after posting, it tries to unninstal sayin that is to “sync with mods subscriptions“ from CurseForge, but as I’ve said, I came to the mod page on the site with my account linked to Steam and it says appears as subscribed.

I’ve been having the same issue since october. Something in the sync process goes wrong it keeps asking me to uninstall mods to add new ones. The number of installed mods will always be 50 maximum.

I’ve already tried a bunch of troubleshooting like running it on a different computer, reinstalling the game, reinstalling all the mods but I’ve had no luck

Not only is it permanently stuck at 50 mods maximum it seems to choose the 50 mods completely randomly.

Hello,

I’m having an issue with Inzoi regarding mods, and I can’t understand where it’s coming from.

I downloaded around 175 mods, but when I check the mods in-game, it only shows 50. They seem to be automatically deleted..

I don’t understand why there is this limit. From what I’ve seen on the forum, there is no maximum, so I really don’t understand why my game is doing this..

Did I misconfigure something with CurseForge or during the installation?
Or did I make a mistake without realizing it?

If anyone has already had this problem or knows what might be causing it, I would really appreciate any help, because I’m quite lost.

Thank you in advance :folded_hands:

Hi @Chiante ,

Since this topic addresses the 50-mod limit on CurseForge and there is an existing thread, I will merge this thread so that others can view and track this issue.

Hey there guys, thanks for posting about this issue. I’ve double-checked and officially there is no 50-Mod-limitation:

Since this is labeled as “sync / subscription issue”, I think it definitely isn’t intended by either the inZOI team or curseforge, etc.
