Is Anyone Else Having Issues with the Sync Your Mods Feature?

Good morning, I have a question: has anyone else had this problem with Inzoi mods and CurseForge? :thinking:

Every time I open Inzoi and go to the Mods section, before I can even click Browse or Discover, a window pops up called “Sync Your Mods.”

It says:

“We’ve detected changes to your subscriptions on CurseForge. The following mods will be downloaded or removed to match your current selections…”

The weird part is that when I click Continue, it wants to uninstall hundreds of mods I already have installed (549 in my case :sob:) and then reinstall mods that I’m already subscribed to on the CurseForge website.

I’m confused because these aren’t new mods. They’re mods I already have, and it feels like the game is unsubscribing and reinstalling them for no reason.

I’ve been asking around in other Inzoi Facebook groups and Discord servers, and now I’m wondering:

Do you download your mods through the in-game CurseForge browser?

Do you download them directly from the CurseForge website?

Or do you use another method entirely?

I mostly download my mods through the in-game CurseForge browser, but sometimes I use the CurseForge website because it’s much easier to browse. For example, when I’m looking for outfits, the in-game browser has 223 pages, while the website lets me show 50 mods per page, which cuts it down to about 45 pages. The problem is that whenever I use the website, the Sync Your Mods feature wants to uninstall and reinstall mods that I’m already subscribed to and already have installed

Has anyone figured out why the Sync Your Mods screen keeps doing this or how to stop it from uninstalling everything every time? I’d really appreciate any help because I don’t want to mess up my mod folder. :sweat_smile:

I have the same problem. This screen needs to be removed. Otherwise many more people will be harmed. And this ridiculous screen has been there since the beginning of the game.

Thank you for replying! It’s good to know I’m not the only one having this issue. Have you found any way to avoid this, or do you press Cancel and ignore the sync screen? I’m afraid of letting it uninstall hundreds of my mods.

Yes i always press cancel. But once i accidentally pressed continue and my mods were deleted. :cold_face:
