CurseForge sync uninstalling all mods (in-game subscriptions aren't registered with curseforge.com)

    • Game Version: 20260331.11471.W

    • Platform: Steam Windows

    • Mods: N/A

    • Hardware Specifications & Operating System (OS version, CPU, GPU, RAM, storage…):
OS Name Microsoft Windows 11 Pro
      Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631
      OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation
      System Type x64-based PC
      System SKU ASUS_MB_KBLX
      Processor Intel(R) Core™ i9-9940X CPU @ 3.30GHz, 3312 Mhz, 14 Core(s), 28 Logical Processor(s)

    • Steps to Reproduce (in-game ⥇ CurseForge):

      1. From an installation and an account without any CurseForge subscriptions (both in game and on curseforge.com), subscribe to many mods through the in-game’s CurseForge wrapper. (I subscribed to 327 in my first sitting, so I was going a bit fast but when I revisited some items the subscription status was still recorded)
      2. Close the game (I came back the next day, so I don’t know if a wait period is needed but I don’t think it is)
      3. Reopen the game and return to the in-game CurseForge.
        • The mod sync popup will display with all (or almost all) the subscriptions queued for uninstall.
      4. Open a web browser to curseforge.com and log in.
      5. Find one of the items that you subscribed to.
        • It will be listed as not subscribed.
    • Steps to Reproduce (in-game ⭰ CurseForge): Issue #8861

      1. From an installation and an account without any CurseForge subscriptions (both in game and on curseforge.com), subscribe to many mods through curseforge.com.
        • I did over 100 today, and had to resubscribe multiple times since it wasn’t sticking. For a subscription to stick on the website, I had to wait a second after clicking subscribe, reload the page and wait another 2-4 seconds to see if the subscription status came back true before trying again. Thus, it took 2-10 seconds to guarantee subscription to an item.
      2. Return to the in-game CurseForge
        • The mod sync popup will display with only 50 subscriptions from the website.
  • Additional Notes:
    • Because the in-game CurseForge navigation slowed down considerably over time, I liked the web site better because its performance is consistant.
    • When using the in-game method of subscribing, the sync popup prevents any subscriptions from the website from installing without purging all existing subscriptions. Therefore, because of the 50 subscription cap, in-game is the only viable way to install CurseForge mods (likely with periodic restarts to recover browser performance)

This is functionally resolved (v0.9.3), but could use some further optimization.
