I would love to see a deeper school life experience in inZOI, especially for teenagers.
Having school dorms or boarding schools could create a whole new layer of gameplay. Teen Zois could choose to live there, while NPC teens could also have their own life outside of school hours.
For example:
Teen Zois living in dorms with other students.
Making friends and building relationships naturally.
Developing rivalries or conflicts with roommates.
Having social events after classes.
NPCs creating their own friendships and stories in the dorms.
Choosing between living at home or experiencing a more independent teen life.
This would make the teenage years feel more meaningful and give young Zois a space where their own stories can develop.
A school should not only be a place where Zois go for a few hours—it could become a real part of their daily life.
Cool idea. Would you see it rather has a whole campus instance area, independent of the main cities and we could move from that campus to the city (per example in our freetime) or directly integrated into a city (Dowon, Bliss Bay, Cahaya)?
I hadn’t really thought about the location. I think both options could work, but if I had to choose, I’d probably prefer the campus to be integrated into the existing cities. It would make the world feel more connected, and teens could naturally move between school, their dorms, and other places around the city. That said, a separate campus with the ability to visit the city during free time could also be fun.
I like the idea of campuses, but not for school. It would work great for university. I don’t know how it is in other countries, but in my country, schoolchildren live at home.
It would also be cool to be able to start playing dynasty from infancy. Now we can start playing with a teenager and immediately on the site. And so, by creating a boarding school for children, we could start playing dynasty with babies and children.
I’m French, and in France most students live at home, but boarding schools for high school students do exist. They are not the most common option, but they can be a good solution for students who live far away or choose a specific school.
I think it could also be an interesting gameplay option in inZOI. For example, if a teen lives in one city but wants to attend a high school in another city, a boarding school could make that possible, especially once family connections between different cities are more developed.
It could also give teens a more independent life experience before adulthood, and be an interesting addition if university gameplay remains focused on a different type of experience.
