certain well decorations cant be placed above half walls

there’s more than enough space, but they cant be placed. not even with the alt key. also, dont lock the half wall heights to certain wall heights and let us build any height we want.

Unfortunately, this is not a bug, but a game mechanic. I’m also frustrated by the fact that the game treats “Partial Wall Top Panels” as a regular wall and doesn’t allow anything to be placed on top of it.

Yes, it needs to be fixed, but it’s not a mistake, it’s a flaw. Or maybe that’s how it should be, I don’t know.

Pretty sure it is a bug since i can place certain wall decorations but not others of a similar size above half walls

Hello @polkacat99! I’m not disputing your statement! I’m stating a fact about the game mechanics that the developer gave us right at the beginning of early access. I hope that in the future this illogicality in the building mechanics will be reworked. But for now we can only place very thin objects. The thickness of paintings varies, so some we can hang while others are blocked by collision.

I support your initiative that we need to report to the developer about the illogical building mechanics! :+1:
