It would be nice to have a smaller square of floor tiles so I can make grass around my houses

It’s not entirely clear how the topic title relates to the content.
Do you want a smaller tile, or actually the ability to edit terrain? And what do grass and tiles have to do with it?
I’m not complaining, I just genuinely don’t understand what you meant 
Maybe that’s what I want too.
The smallest size of the “floor” that can be colored with the grass effect tile is 7.5x7.5.
You can make it smaller, but it does so simultaneously in both directions (for example, both to the left and to the right) so sometimes it’s hard to make them match, taking into account the lot limits.
If you then change something in the walls after you’ve put down the floor and want to modify it, it becomes even more difficult, also because it tends to overlap with the floor that’s created automatically after you close the rooms.
So it would be very convenient to be able to modify small portions of land or to be able to place tiles with grass, sand, water in smaller sizes.
