NPC Pool System (Player-Created World Population)

I think many Zois that appear in the world are not very attractive. When I want to create romantic stories or relationships with a Zoi, it can sometimes be difficult because most of them are not very appealing and only a few look attractive.

It would be nice to have a better balance in the game, with Zois of different appearances — some less attractive, some average, and also more attractive Zois. It could also be interesting to add an attraction system based on tags or preferences, similar to systems used in some RPG games. Each Zoi could have different tags that describe what they find attractive, such as certain styles, personality traits, hobbies, or physical features. This would make relationships feel more realistic because not every Zoi would be attracted to the same type of character.

Some Zois might prefer confident or ambitious people, while others might prefer creative or calm personalities. A chemistry system could also make relationships more dynamic. When two Zois meet, they could have different levels of chemistry.

Some Zois might feel an instant attraction, others might slowly develop feelings over time, and some might simply not feel attracted to each other at all. Another idea could be adding crushes or secret attractions. Zois could sometimes develop feelings for someone naturally, like a coworker, a neighbor, or a friend. This could create more spontaneous stories and make relationships feel more alive and natural in the world. Finally, an advanced system of “types of people each Zoi likes” could take romance to another level.

Combining personal preferences, chemistry, and secret crushes would make relationships much more realistic, dramatic, and fun, giving players a richer and more engaging social experience in inZOI.

NPC Pool System (Player-Created World Population) A possible way to improve the variety and quality of NPCs in the world would be introducing a Player NPC Pool System. Instead of generating most townies randomly, the game could allow players to create or edit Zois and add them to a personal NPC pool.

  1. NPC Pool Library

Players could create or edit Zois in CAZ and mark them as: World NPC Townie Romantic Interest Background Character Rival or Enemy These Zois would then be saved in a personal NPC pool.

  1. World Generation Using Player Zois

When starting a new save, the game could populate the city using: Default game Zois Player-created Zois from the NPC pool This would make every player’s world feel unique and more interesting.

  1. Relationship Tags

Players could optionally assign tags to Zois, such as: Romantic Flirty Rival Friendly Mysterious Career-focused These tags could influence how NPCs behave socially in the world.

  1. Attraction & Chemistry System

Each Zoi could have attraction preferences like: Personality traits Fashion style Hobbies Physical features When two Zois meet, they could have: Strong chemistry Neutral interaction No attraction This would make romance feel more natural and unpredictable.

  1. Dynamic Story Potential

With this system, the world could naturally generate stories like: A coworker secretly having a crush Rivals competing for the same promotion Unexpected romantic chemistry Friend groups forming naturally Instead of the player forcing stories, stories would emerge organically

Character Identity Through Style, Items, and Expressions This image is a great example of how a character can have a complete identity, not just clothing. It shows different elements that together create a character with personality.

Clothing Elegant long coat Denim jacket Simple t-shirt Casual pants Boots Accessories Glasses Bag Perfume Smartphone Expressions Serious Shy or embarrassed Focused on the phone Smiling All of these details help create a character that feels like a real person instead of just a random model.

How This Could Become a System in the Game A system like this could be very useful in inZOI, especially for making NPCs feel more unique and believable.

Style Identity System Each Zoi could have a defined style identity, such as: Dark academia Minimalist Streetwear Luxury Creative artist This would help NPCs have a consistent visual style, instead of wearing completely random outfits.

Lifestyle Items Objects could also reflect the character’s lifestyle. For example, the character in the image has items like:

Expensive perfume An elegant bag A premium smartphone A portable charger These details suggest that the character might be:

Organized Careful about their appearance Possibly a professional or creative worker Small details like this can tell a lot about who a character is.

Personality Expressions The facial expressions shown in the image could also inspire personality-based animations in the game.

For example: A shy Zoi might blush when someone flirts with them. A confident Zoi might maintain strong eye contact during conversations.

A nerdy Zoi might often be seen using their phone or reading something.

These kinds of behaviors could make characters feel much more alive.

How This Would Improve NPCs One common issue players mention in inZOI is that many NPCs feel a bit generic.
