EGYPT DLC inspiration

:desert: Egypt DLC — A New World to Explore in inZOI

Imagine if inZOI expanded beyond its current cities with an Egypt-inspired DLC that lets players experience a completely different culture, landscape, and way of life.

Instead of another modern city, you’d step into a land of deserts, ancient history, and vibrant traditions.

:classical_building: 1. Explore the Pyramids

Imagine visiting iconic landmarks like:

  • :desert: The Great Pyramids.
  • :lion: The Sphinx.
  • :amphora: Ancient temples.
  • :sunrise: Desert viewpoints.

They could become popular places where Zois take photos, meet friends, and learn about history.

:camel: 2. Add Camels

A desert wouldn’t feel complete without camels.

Imagine:

  • :camel: Riding camels across sand dunes.
  • :sunrise: Watching the sunset from the desert.
  • :camera_with_flash: Taking family photos with camels.
  • :desert: Joining guided desert tours.

Camels would become the signature animal of the region.

:cactus: 3. A Vast Desert Landscape

The map could feature:

  • Endless golden sand dunes.
  • Rocky cliffs and valleys.
  • Desert oases.
  • Date palm groves.
  • Small villages.
  • Stunning sunsets.

Driving across the desert would feel completely different from city life.

:dress: 4. Egyptian-Inspired Fashion

Players could enjoy clothing inspired by Egypt and North Africa, such as:

  • Flowing robes and dresses.
  • Embroidered garments.
  • Scarves and headwraps.
  • Sandals.
  • Elegant jewelry inspired by ancient Egyptian art.

This would add more cultural variety to character customization.

:palm_tree: 5. More Desert Nature

The environment could include:

  • :palm_tree: Palm trees around oases.
  • :herb: Desert shrubs.
  • :cactus: Desert plants.
  • :bird: Native birds.
  • :sunrise: Beautiful desert skies.

Note: Pine trees aren’t typical of Egypt’s deserts, so using palm trees, acacia trees, and other desert vegetation would create a more authentic Egyptian atmosphere.

:convenience_store: 6. Markets & Culture

Imagine walking through:

  • Colorful open-air markets.
  • Local cafés.
  • Handmade craft shops.
  • Spice stalls.
  • Street food vendors.

The city would have its own unique atmosphere and traditions.
So, what do you think everyone let me know the comments:grin:.

Yes absolutely. Sims 3 had Egypt you could get inspiration from that.

I really like this theme. But to understand what Egypt really is, you need to go beyond the tourist attractions and look at, for example, Luxor or Cairo — their architecture is charming, and the Nile’s banks are very picturesque. Moreover, there are islands on the river with banana, orange, and other plantations, much more lush with vegetation than the uninhabited island in Cahaya, and it would be interesting to see that in the game too.

Just a desert would be quite boring, even if atmospheric. But you’d look at it for half an hour and then wouldn’t actually play it. But if one part of the map had a city (like I said — something like Luxor or Cairo), and the other half was occupied by desert, oases, and landmarks — then yes, that would be engaging :slightly_smiling_face: :+1:
