Hope to improve character emotion UI

First, I want to clarify that this is just my personal aesthetic preference, and I’m not criticizing the game for doing poorly. I understand that making major improvements to this system isn’t easy, so I’m sharing my wishes hoping they might be seen and perhaps even considered to some extent.

The current emotion menu doesn’t allow me to intuitively see what emotions my Zoi has, because it’s just a small icon that I can only guess at. As a result, I don’t get good feedback for my gameplay.

I prefer the way The Sims presents emotions: first, each emotion source has its own distinct and clear icon, and these icons are genuinely vivid and cute, almost making the player feel immersed in that emotion. Second, I can clearly see which emotion is dominant. While inzoi does achieve this too, for some reason I always feel confused—it’s not as neat as The Sims, which makes it hard for me to calm down and really look at what makes my Zoi sad or happy. This greatly diminishes my gaming experience.

Personally I’d setting for the even smaller emotion UI.
Want to see which is dominant (and eventually you learn those by heart), just mouse over the emotion dot.
It would tell you what emotion it is… Click it and get a big window with all the info about why it is dominant and what it does.

This clears up the overblown UI that gets worse every few major patches, and allow a dedicated large window to give you more info than the current one, but keeps the play window unobstructed.

Been asking for this since last year.
Hopefully they give us more options soon !

Yes, a game’s consideration for each aspect will certainly not satisfy everyone, but if customization features can be added, this problem can be well resolved.
