one way for newborns to look more different from toddlers and appear smaller would be to make them bald.

@HeinziDerHeld babies are naturally born with hair but parents normally decide to shave it off because of the belief that hair grows thicker, plus for aesthetic reasons.
i think newborns in all the sims games are bald and aesthetically it looks better

I think it’d be awesome to have a choice to either make them bald or let them have hair, as I prefer them having hair. The Sims’ bald version was fine and worked for me, but mostly because back then we couldn’t change anything about it due to EA’s unwillingness to listen =/

Don’t we already have bald women and young guys in the game, so now you want bald babies?! And why do so many requests come from experience playing The Sims? This is InZoi, a game with its own specifics and mentality. And yes, in the East, we don’t shave newborns’ hair.

I’m from the west and I’ve never heard of anyone shaving babies hair, I work with babies and like 50% of them come out bald. This isn’t a cultural thing

My children not only were born with very rare and thin hair, but in the first weeks of life they also lost those weak baby hairs and only then did they start growing very light hair, in which they looked like they were bald 
.
So I agree that newborns should have the choice between bald heads and that baby fuzz on their heads. That would be very realistic.

The Western world is a big place, and there are definitely cultural differences. Realistically, they could simply be born with a lot of hair or barely any hair at all. I never shaved my son’s hair, and he had plenty of hair from the very beginning. Also, if we’re going for realism, they should have those bald spots on the back of their heads from lying down so much.

I don’t understand what the issue is if I want babies to be bald and I find them aesthetically cute. It doesn’t matter whether people shave them or wait for their hair to fall out naturally, this post is not about that.

i just want bald newborns in the game, nothing else
