Let's add the meaning of the barbershop.

In the April update, we were given the opportunity to walk and work in a barbershop. It’s good. If you use it as a job, it makes sense. But if you use it as just a place to visit, it’s a useless thing. Why would my Zois go to the hairdresser if they change their hair with a mirror through CAZ? Therefore, I suggest not to forbid changing your hairstyle through CAZ (since in reality you can cut your own hair), but to introduce a new skill - a barber. If it’s low, then the hairstyle will be bad.
I also propose a logical system of hair and beard growth in real time. As it was done in Red Dead Redemption 2 and will be in GTA 6. It also needs to be fixed when a barber turns a bald man into a long-haired man (Hello from GTA SA!) This will help to make a hairstyle from long hair to short, but not vice versa. If the haircut was unsuccessful, then sit and grow your hair back.:upside_down_face:
At the expense of a beard, you need to add the ability to shave at a barbershop or on your own. Let it also be a separate skill, since it is also very possible to shave unsuccessfully.

Nah, that’s not really an issue anymore. Hair extensions have reached incredible heights - you can change from long to short hair every other day if you want - as long as you have the time and money for the procedures

Actually, the system is interesting, I support it. But, like almost all of our suggestions, it would be nice to have an option for each specific Zoey - whether they will dynamically grow hair or not. Because it looks really cool in game dynamics, but can be a problem if our characters are playing the role of actors for stories.

Simply put, if I try to shoot something really complex, with different scenes, and I’m doing it over many in-game days, and in the end I need to make it look like it all happened in a short amount of time - I need my “actor” to look exactly the same. Otherwise, we’ll end up frantically rewinding game time after a bad haircut, waiting until we can restore the right look, while the whole film crew just stands around and prays that none of the other actors have some kind of appearance disaster happen to them in the meantime

That’s quite relevant. Hair extension growth is a long and expensive medical procedure. Not a hairdressing one. If we’re talking about artificial hair - that’s a completely different thing. They’re worn over real hair. That’s exactly what this genre needs.

What story are you talking about, my friend? The game is empty. All the content in the game can be easily completed in two generations with two characters. By the third playthrough, I simply have nothing to do. I’m not playing right now because the game collapsed from its own emptiness. (I’ll tell you about that separately, not here) I already said that you picked the wrong project for this. This game is about something completely different. It has its own genre and it’s trying to match it. No offense meant, but to you: people who play hockey on foot and football with sticks don’t like it. No, of course, I’m not against this approach, as they say: to each their own, but let’s not try to pull the game out of its genre. You’d be better off asking the developers for cheat codes for God mode and so on. Besides, there are fewer people like you. RPG games would suit you better, I also recommend you check out (if you haven’t) The Movies: Stunts and Effects - it’s exactly what all your requirements call for, you can film endless stories + you can even build an entire YouTube channel. Plus it’s a game that not only allows you to do this, but has all the built-in functionality already present.

Also, I think the probability of getting a bad haircut at an NPC-run hair salon should be very low. At the moment, I don’t go to the hairdresser in part because the likelihood of a bad haircut is fairly high.

Also, if there were some haircuts you could only get at the hairdresser, this may give us more incentive to visit the hairdresser.

No, that’s not it! I’m not talking about hair transplant surgery right now. I’m talking about the service called “hair extensions.” It’s done not with artificial hair, but with specially processed natural hair that girls sell for money, and from it a ready-made piece is then made. It’s glued to the client’s own hair, creating a hairstyle of any length. And it’s not a wig, but actual natural hair, even if not entirely your own. But the thing is, you can walk in with five-centimeter hair, and after a few hours leave with waves down to your waist.

Again, that’s not what I mean! Have you never heard of the concept of “sims-serials”? Videos aren’t filmed that often there; it’s mostly about pictures. But creating them from the right angles still takes far more than just a day if you’re trying to arrange quality mise-en-scènes. And there aren’t really any cheats for this yet, and the pose editor is clearly not developed enough to get all the necessary shots easily and quickly. But believe me, this is exactly “that very project”! People created masterpieces even based on The Sims 2 and 3, and here you can get an even more beautiful visual sequence. The main thing is for there to be an interesting story behind it — not from the developers, no, but our own, authorial one.

I know about The Movies perfectly well. It’s a good game, a genius idea, but it’s hopelessly outdated, and there’s nothing decent and modern unfortunately. And if InZOI doesn’t do it, it’s unlikely to appear at all — we’re entering the era of AI-generated videos.
